The Digital Transformation Department is a department under the Prime Minister’s Office which was established with a Cabinet Decision in January 2022. This was established as it was recognised by the Government of Tonga there needed to be a centralised organisation to coordinate this ‘Whole of Government Approach’ to the digitisation of government services.

The Digital Government Strategic Framework
